Project Info

The New Municipality Building (Amana Tower) consist of the 18th floor Main Building and 5th Floor parking Building with roof and upper roof, built on a site area of 24,992 m2. Both buildings are reinforced concrete structure; the Main Building with a built up area of 57,090 m2, and the Parking Building with 29,186 m2. The Main Building will house the different service departments of Jeddah Municipality, including the Office of the Mayor.

The scope of work includes, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Site excavation and excavation of foundation.
  2. Site grading and backfilling.
  3. Asphalt and concrete paving.
  4. Landscaping and Hardscaping
  5. Drainage and irrigation.
  6. Concrete works, i.e. precast walls and cast on site for the structure.
  7. Block works.
  8. Waterproofing
  9. Interior finishi.ng such as granite & marble tiles, ceramic wall tiles & marble cladding, acoustic tile ceiling, gypsum & cement board tiles.
  10. Exterior finishing includes curtain wall, cement plaster and painting.
  11. Elevators and window cleaning equipment.
  12. Electro-mechanical service utilities and equipment such as firefighting system, BMS, water distribution system, sewage system, power distribution system, lighting system, security system, and telecommunication system.

Building Development:
The work covered in Phrase I includes all structures and partial finishing and electromechanical works for Main Building; and all structure and partial electro-mechanical works (finishing excluded) for Parking Building. Phase-2 involved all the remaining works.
